The 2008 Lincoln Navigator is bold, flashy and maybe even a little pretentious. Powered by the same 5.4-liter V8 that drives other Ford trucks, its 300 horsepower engine has 365 pound-feet of torque. It sends its power through a six-speed automatic transmission and can pull 8,950 pounds.
The front end is adorned with two huge chrome grilles that will grab the attention of all its lookers; it even makes the Cadillac Escalade look subtle. As a full-size SUV, passenger room is excellent and for luxury buyers who intend to make use of all three rows on a regular basis, the Navigator makes a lot of sense. The interior has a retro design finish that does not disappoint, particularly with its light wood trim, retro gauges, square shapes and flat switch clusters that generate a post-modern, Scandinavian feel.
The Navigator's shape is clean for such a big vehicle and is as big, bold and flashy as they come - Distinct, stylish and decidedly Lincoln. |
